I've been trying to get this shot now on multiple occasions over a period of quite a few years. When you visit Cornwall (as with anywhere really) briefly and possibly only twice a year getting the right conditions can prove difficult. I wanted the light shining across the sea stacks and through the sea arch. This is possible at the height of summer from this angle. When I've tried this before on previous occasions the clouds just would not part. You see I don't have God like abilities and if I did would I use them for Seascape photography related reasons? I think not. What am I talking about?
Anyway let's get back on topic, Yes, light, seascape, sea arch, rocks, boom. Good ingredients I think. We had 1 week in Cornwall and this was the only website worthy photograph I managed to take during this week. That's just how it happens sometimes. Lots of thick white cloud during the evenings. |
