This is a quintessential British seaside town resort. With the Edwardian and Victorian architecture along the seafront largely unspoilt. Traditional seaside attractions like Punch & Judy, the Great Orme Tram, cable car rides, and the Victorian Pier. All with a mountainous backdrop and the walled city of Conwy nearby.
I took this image during an unusually hot week in the first week of September caused by the air travelling from the Saharan desert all the way up to the UK which created a thick hazy atmosphere during the day and covered cars and property in a layer of dust. This view looking down on Llandudno which captures the motion of the traffic running into the town and towards the pier was taken on Little Orme. The Great Orme is at the other end of the bay.
This is definitely a good place to watch the world go by. |
