The start of our walk to Whitby. I'm not sure this shot is possible now unless you take some garden shears with you. I do like a signpost especially a coastal related one and this Cleveland Way signpost is just lovely. Robin Hood's Bay can be seen below. Another place on the British Coast that benefits from low tide.

When I originally took this picture I was not too sure what the Cleveland Way was. I knew it was a coastal footpath but I did not know the the extent of it or it's origins. But this summer I have been doing some research into it and have decided to walk the whole path over a period of 7/8 days wild camping along the way.

I'm not the fittest person and I have done no training for this. My natural fitness that comes with youth is now long gone. So this will be a bit of a challenge. Yes I have already done trips walking to bothies in Scotland, up mountains and so on. But these were always day trips/ Micro adventures (trips for a period of 2/3 days).

I have decided to limit my pack and will not be taking my main camera. So hopefully I can get some website worthy images using my Sony RX100 MKV.
