Sometimes when out taking photographs the photos you don't plan, the photos you're just snapping can be the most interesting. This is a snapshot taken on the way back down from climbing Beinn Alligin. I didn't think much of it at the time but when I viewed it at home I really liked it. Layers upon layers of rocks and mountains with a subdued look gave this image an almost painterly look.
