In the village of Bellingham, Northumberland near to the Kielder forest you can walk this 3 mile round trip to Hareshaw Linn. A beautiful waterfall. Things you might see include red squirrels, great spotted woodpeckers, redstarts, dippers, badgers and Daubenton's bats. Things you will see include water and lichen. Might be stating the obvious but I recommended waterfalls in bad weather (rain) or after heavy rainfalls. We had lots of bad weather so thought waterfalls might be a good idea. I think they were. |
